US-based Nigerian actress Stella Damasus has taken to social media to pen a touching tribute to her late husband, Jaiyejeje Aboderin 16 years after his death.

The actress noted in the tribute she shared on her Instagram page that she was not sure she could write the tribute but she had to.
According to her, the daughters her late husband left behind are now 21 and 18 years of age and they decided to do something a bit different to mark his 16th remembrance.
She noted further that her late husband is not someone that can be forgotten.
Part of her post read:
“We all miss him and talk about him daily. Jay is not the kind of man that you forget. I smile each time I remember or talk about him because that’s what he represented to all who knew him. He brought joy, happiness, comfort and support to all.”
Stella noted further that she still cries because she wishes her late husband could have spent more time with them.
Damasus, however, noted that he will never be forgotten and his memory lives on.
