On Monday, April 13, Hamzat met with influential members of the Governance Advisory Council, alongside party leaders and stakeholders, during a courtesy visit to elder statesman Tajudeen Olusi in Lagos.

Prominent figures at the meeting included Mutiu Are, Musiliu Obanikoro, and Bode Oyedele—all key members of the council.

The engagement is part of a broader wave of consultations currently unfolding across the state, as political maneuvering and conversations around the 2027 governorship election gradually gather pace.

Taking to his account on X, Hamzat shared insights from the meeting, noting that discussions with council leaders focused on the future trajectory of Lagos and the qualities required for effective leadership.
