Speed Darlington has sparked fresh controversy after he publicly offered ₦5 million to any woman willing to have a child for him.

Speed Darlington Fresh Offer Sparks Reactions

In a video shared on Instagram, the 42-year-old entertainer explained that he first made a ₦3 million offer two years ago.

However, he said he could not find anyone who matched his preference at the time.

Preferred Age Range

According to Darlington, the women he met were older than the age range he wanted.

As a result, he decided to increase the offer to ₦5 million.

He also stated that he preferred a non-Igbo woman, claiming that women from his tribe were “too proud”.

Although he once considered Igbo women because of his mother’s opinion, he insisted that they were never his personal choice.

No Marriage Plans

Meanwhile, the singer stressed that he did not want marriage or a serious relationship.

Instead, he said he simply wanted to become a father without settling down with one woman.

He added that he preferred a woman between the ages of 20 and 24 and clarified that she would not live with him.

Darlington then encouraged interested women to contact him privately on social media.

His comments quickly triggered reactions online, especially because they came months after the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons declared him wanted in 2025 over allegations involving rape, cyberbullying and cyberstalking.

The controversy started after Darlington claimed publicly that he had sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl.

Later, he withdrew the statement and described the story as fictional.

In response, the singer filed a lawsuit against the agency and argued that officials acted unlawfully and unconstitutionally by declaring him wanted without first obtaining a court order.
