Nigeria Police Recruitment: PSC Announces CBT Dates for Candidates

The exam will be conducted nationwide, covering all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, and represents a key phase in the selection process for prospective recruits.

This stage follows the nationwide physical screening and credentials verification exercise, which is expected to conclude on April 18.

Only candidates who successfully scale that phase will proceed to the CBT, which authorities say will play a decisive role in determining eligibility for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force.

In a statement released by the Sokoto State Police Command, the Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmad Rufa’i, described the test as a vital screening tool aimed at ensuring that only qualified candidates make it through to the final stage.

Test Duration

He noted that the duration of the test may vary from one state to another, depending on the number of applicants and the availability of functional CBT centres.

While some states could complete the process in a single day, others may utilize the full three-day window.

Rufa’i emphasised that the flexible scheduling is designed to address logistical differences across the country, while still guaranteeing equal opportunity for all eligible candidates.

Applicants have been urged to remain patient and wait for official updates regarding their test centres and the shortlist of qualified participants.
