Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, joined global counterparts at a high-level summit in Washington, D.C., aimed at shaping the future of education and child safety in the digital age.
The gathering, titled the “Fostering the Future Together Summit,” was hosted at the White House by Melania Trump.
The event convened 45 first ladies from around the world, creating a platform for dialogue on improving access to digital learning tools and addressing the growing need to protect children online.
Among the prominent attendees was France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron, alongside spouses of several other world leaders.
Discussions centered on strengthening international cooperation to better prepare young people for a fast-changing technological landscape.
Participants explored how education systems can evolve to equip students with essential digital skills, while also developing safeguards against the risks posed by emerging technologies.
A standout moment at the summit was the unveiling of “Figure 3,” a humanoid artificial intelligence system developed in the United States.
The demonstration marked a historic first—introducing such advanced AI technology to an international diplomatic audience at the White House.
In her remarks, Melania Trump highlighted the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, noting that its evolution is moving beyond handheld devices toward human-like forms capable of performing practical tasks.

The Delegations
Delegations from nine countries—including the United States, France, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, and Morocco—shared their national approaches to integrating technology into education.
