Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc began 2025 with steady momentum and strong investor expectations.
By year end, it delivered one of its strongest financial performances.
Unaudited results show the company generated ₦87.3 billion in pre-tax profit for 2025.
That figure marks a 63.64% increase from ₦53.3 billion in 2024.

Okomu Oil Revenue Drives Expansion
Revenue growth drove the company’s improved performance throughout the year.
Specifically, turnover rose 52.35% year-on-year to ₦198.1 billion.
Meanwhile, local sales of palm and rubber products strengthened overall revenue.
Domestic revenue climbed 60.53% to ₦172.6 billion during the year.
In addition, export revenue increased from ₦22.5 billion to ₦25.5 billion.
Although costs increased, revenue growth outpaced cost expansion.
Cost of sales rose to ₦58.5 billion from ₦48.4 billion.
As a result, gross profit surged 71.09% to ₦139.5 billion year-on-year.
Subsequently, operating profit climbed 81.77% to ₦90.03 billion.
During the same period, the company recorded ₦49.5 billion in operating expenses.
At the same time, it earned ₦11.07 billion in finance income and paid ₦13.7 billion in finance costs.
Consequently, the company posted ₦87.3 billion in pre-tax profit for the year.
Thereafter, it paid ₦23.7 billion in taxes.
Ultimately, profit after tax rose 59% to ₦63.5 billion.
Likewise, earnings per share increased to ₦66.60 from ₦41.89.
Assets Strengthen Balance Sheet
Beyond earnings, the company expanded its asset base during the year.
It increased fixed assets by 20.34% to ₦81.5 billion.
It also grew current assets by 4.09% to ₦41.6 billion.
Cash holdings reached ₦12.9 billion.

Inventory closed the year at ₦20.7 billion.
By year end, the company lifted total equity to ₦56 billion.
That figure compares with ₦55.4 billion in 2024.
Notably, revenue reserves accounted for 97.3% of shareholders’ funds.
Investors Respond Positively
Following the results, investors reacted positively in the market.
On February 13, 2026, the share price stood at ₦1,327.
During mid-day trading, the stock gained 9.99%.
So far this year, the stock has delivered a 21% return.
