Kim Kardashian has revealed that in her early years, her hunger for fame pushed her to use pop icon Britney Spears’ name to get noticed.
The reality TV star and SKIMS founder made the admission while speaking on her sister Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land.
She reflected on the early 2000s, a period she described as one where fame meant everything to her.
Kim recalled having dinner in New York City with her longtime friend, Jonathan Cheban, when he discovered that Britney Spears was staying at a nearby hotel.
According to Kim, that single piece of information quickly became an opportunity she was willing to seize.
Looking back, Kim admitted she had no shame about her ambition at the time. She said her focus was singular and intense.
“Fame was all I wanted. I lived for it,” she said.
