Afrobeats superstars Ayodeji “Wizkid” Balogun and Ahmed “Asake” Ololade have released a new single titled ‘Jogodo’.
It marks their first official collaboration.

The track debuted on major streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday.
Also, it and serves as the lead single from their forthcoming joint EP, Real (Vol. 1), which is scheduled for release on January 23.
On ‘Jogodo’, both artistes play to their strengths. Wizkid delivers his signature smooth and laid-back vocals, while Asake brings his high-energy, street-inspired style.
Also, the blend creates a dynamic sound that works seamlessly for both relaxed listening and upbeat environments.
The song features a mix of Yoruba and Pidgin, with lyrics centred on attraction, nightlife and self-assurance.
Also, Its catchy chorus is crafted for easy sing-alongs, adding to the track’s replay value.
Anticipation for the collaboration began building in early December 2025 after both artistes confirmed that a joint project was in progress.
The announcement was made during an Apple Music Radio takeover interview, which was later shared on the platform’s official X page.
Speaking during the interview, Wizkid hinted at the project’s significance, telling listeners:
“Special announcement: 2025, clear road. Mr Money and Big Wiz — our project is called Real, and it will be released for the people. One time, Vol. 1.”
