Fireboy DML Says Fan Appreciation Matters More Than Rankings

Speaking on a recent episode of the 90s Baby podcast, the ‘Peru’ hitmaker explained that while industry debates and ratings are common, they do not influence his sense of fulfillment as an artiste.

According to him, the opinion that matters most is that of his fans.

Fireboy noted that he is satisfied with the loyalty and support he receives from his listeners, adding that many of them already regard him as the best musician in the world.

He stressed that such appreciation is enough to keep him motivated and grounded.

“I don’t really care about Top 5 or Top 10, as long as I have fans who rate me.”

“I know that I have fans that think I’m the best artiste in the whole world, and that is good enough for me.”

“I’m a very contented person,” he said.
