Nollywood actor and filmmaker Stanley Ajemba, widely known as Stanley Ontop, has been arrested and detained by the Delta State Police Command over allegations of defamation.
The arrest reportedly took place on Tuesday in Asaba following a petition filed by actress Queeneth Hilbert.

The development was made public by activist and Stanley’s associate, Mama Pee, who took to her Instagram story to raise concerns about the situation.
In her posts, she accused Queeneth Hilbert of repeatedly using the Nigeria Police as a tool for intimidation.
She wrote:
“Stanley Ontop arrested and detained in SCID Asaba! Free Stanley Ontop. @queenethhilbert, you all should stop using police to harass people. Dear Queeneth Hilbert, why not go to court instead of using the police to intimidate? Defamation cases belong in court—why is Stanley in detention? These are two public figures!”
