Nigerian comedian and content creator, Zic Saloma, has candidly opened up about undergoing nose surgery.
He cited years of insecurity and missed opportunities in the entertainment industry as his motivation.
In a recent Instagram video, the skit maker revealed that he had lost several career opportunities due to his looks.
This is a situation that pushed him to make a change through cosmetic enhancement.
According to Zic Saloma, the procedure, which also included a facelift and eye rejuvenation, greatly improved his self-confidence and made him more comfortable in his own skin.
Also, he urged people to embrace cosmetic surgery if it helps boost their self-esteem, provided it’s done safely.
“I decided to undergo nose surgery because I wasn’t comfortable with my appearance. I had lost several job opportunities in the past because of how I looked. If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it. If it will make you feel better, go for it,” he said.
The comedian had his rhinoplasty in Turkey, disclosed that the entire process lasted over four hours and cost around $11,000.
However, he didn’t pay for the procedure, as it was done as part of a collaboration with the hospital.

Zic Saloma stated that the transformation has given him renewed confidence and the drive to pursue bigger opportunities in the entertainment space.
