The attack leaves three people dead and several worshippers, including the pastor, abducted.

Reacting in an Instagram video on Wednesday evening, Bukola Arugba expressed shock and disappointment over the First Lady’s statement describing the tragedy as merely an “attempted attack.”

The actress, who hails from the affected community, insisted that the incident was a successful and deadly assault.

It is not an attempt, as seen in the widely circulated live video.

Arugba revealed that three of her family members,  her aunt, Titi Balogun, and two cousins, Ebenezer and Aina — were among the abductees and remain in captivity.

She accused the First Lady of downplaying the severity of the tragedy.

Also, she stresses that the official statement contradicted the reality of what residents experienced.

Addressing the First Lady directly in her video, she said:

The release on your page totally contradicts the sad truth. This was never an attempted attack. People were hospitalised, many were abducted, and three people are confirmed dead. My people were taken. The reports on your page are false.”
