Boluwatife “Champz” Balogun, the 14-year-old son of Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, has made a powerful entry into the music scene with his debut EP Champion’s Arrival, which debuted at No. 1 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Albums chart.

Released on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the five-track, 11-minute project climbed to the top of the chart within just five hours of release, making Champz the youngest artiste ever to achieve a No. 1 album on Apple Music Nigeria.
Blending Afrobeats rhythms with UK grime influences, Champion’s Arrival features no guest appearances, allowing Champz to showcase his talent, confidence, and originality as a solo artiste.
The project has taken over social media, with clips of Champz’s music spreading rapidly across TikTok and X.
Fans have praised his creativity and composure at such a young age, drawing comparisons to Wizkid’s own early rise in the industry.
