The Recording Academy has announced the nominees for the Best African Music Performance category at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, celebrating some of Africa’s biggest musical exports.

Nominees in the category include Burna Boy for his song “Love”, Davido featuring Omah Lay for “With You”, Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin for “Hope & Love”, Ayra Starr featuring Wizkid for “Gimme Dat”, and Tyla for “PUSH 2 START.”
The Best African Music Performance category, which honours outstanding African songs and artists, continues to highlight the continent’s growing impact on the global music scene.
From Afrobeats to Amapiano, this year’s nominees represent a blend of cultures and styles shaping modern sound worldwide.
The 68th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 1, 2026, in Los Angeles, USA.
