Nigerian music superstar Tiwa Savage has finally spoken in detail about her long-running feud with fellow singer Seyi Shay.
She sheds light on the viral salon confrontation that dominated social media years ago.

Appearing on the latest episode of the Off Air with Gbemi O and Toolz podcast released on Saturday, the “Somebody’s Son” hitmaker revealed that the rift between her and Seyi Shay stemmed from a diss track
Also, the allegations that she had attempted to block opportunities for other female artistes in the Nigerian music industry.
Tiwa Savage firmly denied the claims.
She emphasises that she has always supported women in music and would never sabotage another artiste’s career.
“If you do something to me, I’ll tell you directly, not online. I’m not going to pretend we’re cool when you did a whole diss track about me,” she said.
The award-winning singer added that she was deeply hurt and confused when she first heard rumours suggesting she had “blocked bags” for Seyi Shay and Victoria Kimani.
She insisted there was no truth to the allegations.
“That was painful, and I didn’t know where it was coming from. Till today, maybe I need to have a conversation with Shay,” she admitted.
