Human rights activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has raised doubts about the credibility of the Big Brother Naija reality show’s prize payments.
Taking to his X handle on Monday, Deji Adeyanju questioned whether the organisers truly award winners their full prize money.
He alleges that many past winners end up financially worse off after the show.

“Do they really give BBNaija winners the prize money? The reason I am asking is because many of them end up looking extremely broke thereafter,” he wrote.
His remarks came less than 24 hours after Imisi was crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10
Also, Adeyanju’s statement has sparked widespread debate among fans.
Many are demanding he mention the names of former winners who became poorer after their victories.
However, he has yet to provide further clarification.
Also, this is not the first time questions have been raised about the show’s prize distribution.
Phyna, the winner of the seventh edition in 2022, has repeatedly accused the organisers of failing to deliver all her promised rewards.
