Rapper Offset has finally broken his silence on the long-standing rumors linking him to Saweetie, while also opening up about his divorce from Cardi B and the challenges that led to the end of their marriage.
In a candid conversation with actress and singer Keke Palmer, Offset was directly confronted about claims that he had spent the night with Saweetie allegations that fueled months of social media speculation.
The rapper dismissed the rumors as “baseless and strange.”
Offset Clears The Air
“That whole Saweetie thing was just weird,” Offset said during the interview.”
“I don’t know where that came from.”
“It’s just one of those rumors that take off for no reason.”
Addressing his relationship with Cardi B, whom he affectionately called “bro,” Offset admitted that his own mistakes led to their split.
“I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” he confessed, acknowledging that his actions had “toppled” their nearly seven-year relationship.
Offset confirmed that the divorce has not yet been finalised, but both he and Cardi B seem to agree that separation is the best decision.
Cardi B has previously expressed her frustrations and heartbreak over Offset’s behavior, often sharing her feelings publicly on social media.
The couple known for their fiery and on-and-off relationship have split and reconciled multiple times before filing for divorce again in 2024.
In another part of the interview, Offset reflected on the loss of his cousin and fellow Migos member, Takeoff, describing it as a wound that “still hasn’t healed.”
He also opened up about his battle with codeine addiction, a struggle that worsened after the group’s 2016 hit “Bad & Boujee” shot them to fame.
Offset credited his faith and support system for helping him regain control of his life, saying he is now focused on healing, growth, and becoming a better man after years of chaos and controversy.
