Popular Nollywood actresses Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi and Wumi Toriola have finally put an end to their long-standing rift.
They reconciles after seven years of public fallout.
The unexpected reunion happened on Sunday, December 21, 2025, when both actresses ran into each other at a cinema in Ikeja, Lagos, while promoting their respective movie projects.
Toyin Abraham was at the venue to promote her latest film, Oversabi Aunty, while Wumi Toriola was there for Behind the Scenes, a movie produced by Funke Akindele, in which she stars.
In a now-viral video circulating on social media, the actresses were seen sharing warm moments as they openly expressed how much they had missed each other.
Wumi was heard saying, “I miss you,” before playfully asking Toyin to swear if she felt the same way.
Also, Toyin responded affirmatively, saying, “I miss you too,” as the duo embraced
The reconciliation marks a significant moment, given their highly publicised fallout over the years.
The two actresses, once close friends, became estranged after several online confrontations that divided fans.
Their feud reportedly began in 2017 during the filming of Alakada Reloaded, when Wumi accused Toyin of slapping her in a hotel room and warned her against ever raising a hand at her again.
In 2018, Wumi further fuelled the rift by accusing Toyin of faking her engagement.
In 2023, Wumi also addressed rumours alleging a secret affair with Toyin’s husband.
She strongly denies the claims and describing them as “diabolical, evil and intended to soil my name.”

Fans have since expressed excitement and relief over the actresses’ reconciliation.
