Nigerian comedian and reality show star, DeeOne, has successfully completed a Guinness World Record, GWR, attempt for the longest stand-up comedy performance by an individual.
The comedian began his record-breaking marathon around 12 am on October 2, 2025, and brought it to completion on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

This clocks an impressive 52 hours and 42 minutes.
Speaking after the event, DeeOne explained that his effort was inspired by a desire to motivate Nigerian youths and dreamers everywhere.
According to him, the feat proves that “no goal is too high to achieve.”
The marathon event, held at Pallazzo, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Also, it drew a host of Nigerian celebrities who came to show their support.
Among them were Pamilerin, Acapella, FunnyBone, Uche Maduagwu, Husband Material, EmmaOhMaGod, K-Solo, Constance Owoyemi, Akinolu Jekins, and Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st.
Although DeeOne has completed his attempt, his achievement is now awaiting official confirmation by Guinness World Records.
Prior to this, the record was held by American comedian Benny Elbows
Benny Elbows performed for 40 hours, 16 minutes, and 48 seconds on April 25, 2025.
