Veteran Nigerian Fuji musician, Adewale Ayuba, has finally spoken out on reports alleging that he divorced his wife, Azuka Ego, over a supposed paternity dispute.
The claims originated from a YouTube channel which alleged that the singer uncovered his wife’s infidelity through a secret DNA test and consequently ended their decades-long marriage.

Reacting to the viral report, Ayuba, through his management company, Bonsue Fuji Entertainment, described the story as “baseless, malicious, and fabricated.”
In a statement shared via his official Instagram page, the Bonsue Fuji pioneer reaffirmed that he remains happily married to his wife of over thirty years
Also, he emphasised that the paternity of their children has never been questioned.
The statement read in part:
“We want to state this clearly to everyone who supports Dr Adewale Ayuba, that there is absolutely no truth – not a single iota – in this cooked-up story. For the record, they have been happily married for over thirty years. This is nothing more than a cheap, despicable attempt to embarrass Dr Ayuba’s family, malign his character, and bring his united family to public ridicule.”
Ayuba also vowed to take legal action against the blogger responsible for spreading the damaging report.
“I will not allow my integrity to be attacked without consequences,” he wrote.
The Fuji legend, fondly called Mr Bonsue, urged fans and the general public to disregard the false information.
He stresses that his marriage and family remain intact.
With over three decades in the music industry, Adewale Ayuba is widely respected for revolutionising Fuji music with his melodious, lyrical style.
