Popular Nollywood actress, Osas Ighodaro, has opened up about her very first on-screen kiss in the Nigerian movie industry.
She describes it as an unexpected and uncomfortable experience.

The actress moved to Nigeria from the United States in 2012, revealed on The Culture League Podcast that the incident came as a rude awakening for her in Nollywood.
According to Osas Ighodaro, she had mentally prepared herself for the scene, but what followed was beyond her expectations.
“My first on-screen kiss in Nigeria took me by surprise. I knew the kiss was coming, so I was ready for an ‘on-screen kiss.’ But in my experience, you are not supposed to put your tongue down somebody’s mouth — and the person did,” she said.
The award-winning star stressed that proper communication is essential before intimate film scenes, especially kisses.
“On a basic level, if you’re going to do an on-screen kiss, you talk about it. You say, ‘Oh, I’m going to put my tongue in your mouth.’ But if you don’t talk about it, then you stick to the basics.”
