Afrobeats star Davido has publicly thrown his weight behind his close associate and talent manager, Ubi Franklin.
This was amid swirling allegations that Ubi Franklin stole a luxury watch during the singer’s lavish wedding celebration in Miami over the weekend.
The speculation began trending on social media on Wednesday.
It reportedly stemmed from a blog post claiming Franklin was involved in the alleged theft.
Wasting no time in addressing the issue, Ubi Franklin took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to firmly deny the accusations.
Also, he label them as completely false and misleading.
In a strong show of support, Davido dismissed the allegations outright, making it clear that Ubi Franklin did not owe anyone an explanation.
