The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, and his presidential campaign organisation has arrived Cross River State for the continuation of his campaign.

iBrandtv gathered that the former Governor of Anambra State visited the South South state  without Doyin Okupe following his resignation as the Director General of his campaign council, after he was sentenced to two years imprisonment over alleged money laundering.

Obi will be hoping to attract the support of the people of Akwa Ibom on Tuesday ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Announcing his arrival in the state, Obi via his official Twitter handle wrote: “Arrived in Calabar and headed to a meeting with the Traditional Council of Chiefs after engaging Cross River State Youths in an interactive session.”
