Nigeria’s February 25 presidential election has continued to draw more reactions after Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress was declared winner.

The ‘Freest’ In Nigeria’s History
Also, the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, has given his ‘two kobos’ on the election.
Akeredolu describes it as the freest to be conducted in the history of Nigeria.
The governor is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) which also produced the president-elect.
The election reflected the will of Nigerians, Akeredolu says.
He noted that aggrieved candidates who are not satisfied with the result of the poll would be met to start the healing process.
According to him, the party has set up a committee to meet the other presidential candidates who are not pleased with the results.

“The President-elect has set up committees to meet with the gentlemen who contested in the election for us to start the healing process.
“I belong to one of the committees. We are going to meet them and appeal to them so that we can work together.
“This is an election that was not padded. People who voted were counted, that is the way I see it.
“It’s not one which shows millions of votes. You can see the candidates, everyone won 12 states each, it has never been like that before,” the governor said.
APC Reconciliation Committee
According to Akeredolu, the committee would seek to resolve their displeasure and ensure all parties involved work together with the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, for the growth of Nigeria.
However, the other candidates are yet to comment on the committee and have not shown interest in settling.
Rather, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi is ready to go to court as he believes he won the election.
Addressing his supporters, the ‘Obidients’ on Thursday, he expressed his readiness to go through the legal way to get what he claimed was rightfully his.
