USMNT and Juventus star Weston McKennie showed he’s a TikTok natural in a hilarious new video, in which he claimed to be a “part-time footballer”.
In a video to mark Juventus hitting 30 million followers on the social media platform, the midfielder is approached in his car by an admirer asking what he does for a living.
Grinning, he replies he’s a “part-time footballer”, but a “full-time TikTok admin” before thanking fans for hitting the new milestone.
McKennie’s self-deprecating description is more than a little tongue in cheek.
In fact, only two outfield players have played more minutes for the Old Lady in Serie A this season.
However, Massimiliano Allegri’s side is now challenging for the title after three seasons outside the top three.
McKennie’s return to Turin after a failed loan stint at Leeds has proved so successful that the Juventus board are preparing an offer to extend his current contract beyond 2025.
