Video: Jonathan speaks after closed-door meeting with Buhari in Abuja

Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday had a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja.

Jonathan commended Buhari for completing legacy projects of previous administrations, stressing that it is the best way to go.

The former President, who is the ECOWAS Special Envoy to Mali, briefed President Buhari on the activities of his committee in a bid to resolve the ongoing political crisis in the Republic of Mali.

The former President, who was in the company of President of ECOWAS Commission, Mr Jean-Claude Kassi Brou, told his host that, “ECOWAS can’t preside over the removal of an elected President.
