Vanessa Hudgens revealed her pregnancy in style on Sunday, March 10, 2024, as she showed up to the Oscars cradling her baby bump.
The 35-year-old High School Musical actress was among the first well-known faces to attend the Academy Awards.
She was co-hosting the official pre-show program with Dancing With the Stars professional Julianne Hough.
On the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Hudgens wore a fitted black gown that highlighted her bump. She smiled and blew kisses to photographers.
Hudgens got married to Major League Baseball player Cole Tucker in Mexico last December, and this will be their first child.
The announcement about her pregnancy comes shortly after Hudgens spoke out against “rude” speculation about whether she was expecting a baby last year.
She mentioned on the She Pivots podcast episode released on Wednesday: “I recently had an encounter with the public where they took control of their opinion of me in a way that was disrespectful.”
“I went out on my bachelorette party in October and I posted a video of myself. There were all these comments like, ‘Oh my god, you’re pregnant’.”
