Liverpool and Klopp will be looking to put an end to a run of consecutive defeats against bottom-three opposition this weekend when they travel to the capital, but face a Spurs side who, without playing particularly well, are winning games and picking up points.
Klopp: “What I can say I never once thought before going to Tottenham ‘now is a good time to face Tottenham’. It will be a tough one but that’s what we all want. It’s like a Champions League game in the Premier League and that’s how we’ll approach it.”
“It’s a massive game for us (Sunday). I didn’t count the points difference between us but we cannot be picky where we get points but it’s difficult. They are well organised in defending. Counter-attack is a massive thing. You saw their offensive power.”
They have scored goals in the last minutes lately, so we are prepared for a confident, strong opponent.
Conte on Klopp:“I have great respect for Jurgen because his story speaks for him. “He has changed the face of Liverpool. I remember very well Liverpool didn’t win for a long period.
“He needed four years to help Liverpool win again and for sure it shows it is important for the coach to have time. Liverpool can be a good example for us.”
