President Bola Tinubu believes that Nigeria can be great again and this he communicated to media editors.
Tinubu sees the pains that the people are passing through as a sacrifice to achieve the greater good.
Though the future is far, we can get there together moving one step at a time, he reiterated.
Editors who attended the Nigerian Editors conference in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, have been asked to ensure truth and objectivity in reporting national issues.

The charge came from the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu.
He was represented at the opening ceremony by the Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris.
The president gave assurance that “the Federal Government “will reverse the worrisome trend in the economy.”
He said: “We are aware of the pains Nigerians are facing and we are taking steps to cushion the effects of petrol subsidy removal on the citizenry”.
The theme for the conference is ‘Stimulating Economic Growth and Technological Advancement: Role of the Media’.
He cited the ₦35,000 wage award to civil servants as an intervention the government is working on to alleviate the suffering of the citizens.
Also, there is the ₦100 billion CNG-powered buses, and the signing of five executive orders to improve businesses.
Others include clearing the billions of dollars in inherited foreign exchange backlog.
And the establishment of the committee to reduce the tax burden on Nigerians.
“What we are facing are necessary sacrifices that we all must make; we are all stakeholders in the development of our dear nation,” he added.

Tinubu further said that the administration was not resting but striving to ensure a thriving and prosperous nation.
He assured them that the government would welcome stimulating discussions about the growth of the economy.
