Meta is still contemplating further slash of its workforce by around a quarter, as Facebook keeps battling advertising issues.
Unfortunately, after the COVID-19 pandemic, many tech companies have had to layoff so many workers.
Tech giants like Twitter, Google, Dell, and Amazon are even in the lead. They have had to let go of a large percentage of their workforce.
One other company that sees the need to layoff is Facebook which became Meta in late 2021.

Layoff In Kenya
In January, about 260 content moderators were laid off in the Facebook Moderating Hub in Nairobi, Kenya.
But that decision is coming back to hunt Meta.
Now, 43 of them are suing the social media behemoth’s parent Meta for unfair dismissal.
This was revealed in a statement published on their behalf on Monday.
“Overnight, these moderators doing critical safety work for East and South Africa lost their jobs,” the statement noted.
“In the biggest legal challenge yet to Meta’s African operations, 43 moderators at Facebook’s Nairobi moderation hub are suing the social media firm and its outsourcers for sacking the entire workforce — and for blacklisting all the laid-off workers.”
Meta is yet to comment or react to the lawsuit.
