Singer Joshua Iniyezo popularly known as Solidstar, has revealed his decision to quit smoking and drinking.
In a video shared by his brother, Joseph, seven months ago, Solidstar was depicted as disheveled and wandering aimlessly on the streets, prompting concerns about his well-being and withdrawal from social media and the music industry.
However, he reassured his followers that he is now in good health and has overcome substance abuse.
Solidstar stated, “I am very well and healthy now. I have been out of the hospital for four months now, but I am still taking my medication. I no longer smoke or take alcohol.”
The singer, who recently made headlines for opening up about his struggles with substance abuse, emphasized the importance of communication in maintaining mental health.
He admitted that his depression stemmed from his secretiveness and viewing those around him as adversaries.
Solidstar expressed gratitude for the support he received from friends, colleagues, fans, and family during his challenging times.
