Now, she has come out of hiding to talk about the leak sex tape saga, involving her.
The curvy actress revealed that she had sex only twice in 2022, one of which was the video that was leaked.
She regarded herself as quiet and unproblematic, and that was why she was taken as a “fool”.
“Until a lioness tells her story, every hunter will continue to be a hero. People always take quiet, non-problematic people for fools.
“However, I think it is time for me to start talking.”
Moyo Lawal opened up about the fact that the man in the video used to be her lover, with whom they were planning a future together.
I Had Sex Twice In 2022
“One thing… I can tell you for a fact, however, that things are never what they seem to be, I only had sex twice last year; one of those times was the video.
“I agreed to it because he started recording after learning that he doesn’t live in Nigeria.
“He put in a lot of work, winning my trust over the years, and I mean a lot. So much so, we were already working towards a house, marriage and all.”
According to Moyo Lawal, she broke up with him last year after she started experiencing communication challenges with him, “having put my entire life on pause with any man I am dating”.
Turned Down Dating Offers
“I have not made so many sacrifices by turning down so many dating offers, sleeping alone 90% of my entire adult life, choosing to be alone… to have an ugly video that happened when I was ill, hanging over my head.”
The actress debunked claims that she intentionally released the video to trend on the internet.
“Meanwhile, to the set of unbelievers who actually thought that video was released by me because of a foolish narrative that started because I didn’t point fingers or start trash talking or blaming anyone and stayed quiet to end it all quickly, I honestly don’t know what to tell you.”

Moyo Lawal said she was even stronger after the saga and won’t be brought down by the video leak.
“They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and changes you.
“I pray I become carefree and outgoing because doing life the right way has shown my enemy shege.”
