Protest: Max Air Suspends Operation Indefinitely

Due to the ongoing #EndBadGovernance nationwide protest, Max Air has announced an indefinite suspension of its operation from Friday, August 2, 2024.

ProtestHowever, the Nigerian airline is the only airline that suspended its operations while others experienced delay due to poor passengers turnout and flights delay.

In a statement, Max airline said the decision was made in the interest of ensuring a secure and reliable travel experience for its customers.

The airline emphasised that safety of passengers remained their utmost priority.

“We regret to inform you that due to the general unrest in the country we have temporarily suspended our domestic flight operations for 2nd August 2024.

“Please know that your safety remains our top priority, and this decision has been made in the interest of ensuring a secure and reliable travel experience.

“Throughout this period, our dedicated customer service team remains available via our social media channels, emails, and phone lines.

Also, we are here to answer your questions, provide updates, and assist in any way we can,” the airline said.

In addition, it apologized to its customers for any frustration the decision might have caused.
