Former chairman of the Park Management System (PMS), in Oyo State, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary who has been declared wanted replied the police from his hideout.
To Auxiliary, the Police declaration can’t be meant for him.

Recently, after his office was dissolved by the state governor, Auxiliary and his team resorted to violent demonstration in the state in resistance to the government’s pronouncement.
This got the police involved in the matter which made them search his residence and allegedly found sophisticated weapons.
Auxiliary however said that he is not responsible for stockpiling the weapons recently discovered at his residence on Thursday.
Police Declares Auxiliary Wanted
The Oyo State Police Command during a press briefing on Friday had declared Auxiliary wanted.
The wanted park chairman spoke on Saturday morning from his hideout via a live radio programme in Ibadan, the state capital.
Auxiliary Speaks
“When I’m not a fool, how could I have hidden or stockpiled those weapons at my residence?” he questioned.
Auxiliary also promised to abide by whatever decision Governor Seyi Makinde takes on transport unions in the state.
He describes himself as a peace-loving individual.
No One Is Bigger Than Government
He went ahead to caution his followers against causing trouble or engaging in any act of violence in Ibadan and other parts of the state.

This is because he doesn’t approve of any act of violence.
Speaking about Governor Makinde and his ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro, Auxiliary spoke highly of both men, declaring them as his benefactors.
According to him, no person, no matter how highly influential he or she is, is not bigger than the government.
Auxiliary further promised to comply and cooperate with the reform and integration of other driver unions into the PMS.

“If the new reform doesn’t favour him, he is ready to accept the outcome.”
