INEC used old boxes it had used in earlier elections and that is why the covers do not match the stickers that were on the boxes.

The electoral body directed people to pick boxes and played to the gallery when if faield to remember that the boxes had matching colours to make it easier for voters to know where to drop their ballot papers.

Now, people are accusing INEC of spending so much money for procurement of election materials while they only reused their old buns boxes.

Also, people think INEC will again pick old buns boxes for the governorship and state House of Assembly elections.

In one of the comments on the issue, a Twitter user gives a breakdown of how much INEC bought the box. Note: It is not clear if this breakdown is truly from INEC’s document.
