Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo.O.Kanayo who is well known for his lead roles in English and Igbo movies over the years expressed his pain over this current trend in the Nigerian movie industry.
The veteran actor raised the lead on this growing trend in an interview.
“Nollywood should not be a ground for BBL, runs or where dollars and valuables are stolen in the hotel.
“It is a ground for creativity not homosexuality.
”Nollywood is not a place to come and learn how to act but to better and hone your talent.
‘They Want To Sell Sex’
“Find out of you have a calling for acting. You must have an element of education before coming to act.

”People are bombarding the industry because they want to sell sex. Their body and so on. It’s not healthy for the industry.

Kanayo O. Kanayo implored people to join nollywood for the passion and talent they have and not because they want to get rich quick so they don’t phase out with time.
