The Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has joined the list of politicians that suffered huge embarrassment during campaigns.
Angry Nigerians who can no longer bear the pains of the lingering Naira scarcity have launched a new trend of embarrassing politicians.

Earlier report says the billionaire husband of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, Ned Nwoko was humiliated by students during a political campaign in Delta State.
Hours after, Governor Dapo Abiodun also got a share of the bitter cake during an open-air campaign motorcade in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
The Ogun governor is seeking a second term bid on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A video trending online captures hundreds of residents booing the governor and his entourage over the current hardship caused by the scarcity of new Naira notes.
The angry residents shouted “thief, thief, ole, we don’t want”. They unanimously refused to allow Abiodun to address them.

Even when he offered the crowd souvenirs including t-shirts and hats, they rejected the campaign materials.
Abiodun desperately pleaded with them not to be angry over the current Naira policy, emphasising that he was not responsible.
He added that he was not happy with the current situation and urged them to be patient. as the matter will soon be resolved.
