The 22-year-old daughter of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather had been sentenced to six years of deferred adjudication after pleading guilty to the stabbing of another woman in Cypress in 2020.

Iyanna Mayweather was arraigned in court on Oct. 17, where she plead guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for the incident that happened in April 2020.

She was offered a deferred adjudication which is a judge-ordered probation that allows Iyanna to accept responsibility for a crime without an actual conviction placed on record.

Under her sentence, Iyanna will need to abide by certain rules including that she cannot commit any offense.

She also cannot use or possess any illegal drugs or prescription drugs that are not currently prescribed by a medical professional and should always report to supervising officer.

She is also expected to work suitable employment and/or attend school full-time and remain within Harris County or any counties directly touching Harris County, and cannot travel outside the location unless given permission.
