“God told me to go on a dry fasting stretch”
These were the words of a young female student to her concerned friends who went to check up on her at home following her absence from school.
There is no doubt that people have different spiritual beliefs and practice in different ways as they deem fit.
A few weeks ago, the video of a group of ladies who went to visit their friend who had been absent from school went viral.
The young lady, who has been indoors, communicated with her friends from the window as she said that God had instructed her to embark on a 40-day dry fast.
She appreciated her friends for checking up on her and assured them that she’s fine.
Another video just surfaced where she kneeled down, thanking God for helping her go through the journey of dry fasting.

The young student, who had already gone very pale and lean, broke her fast with water, followed by a plate of noodles.
Different reactions trolled the video; some said her action may be the result of a mental issue, while others praised her for being courageous enough to go through the journey.
