A prominent Ondo traditional ruler, the Oloso of Oso Ajowa, Oba Clement Omoola Jimoh, who was abducted last week Thursday after gunmen invaded his palace in Akoko North West Local Government Area of the state has regained freedom.

Recall that the revered monarch’s palace was invaded by unknown gunmen who forcefully abducted and kept him in an unknown location for seven days.
According to reports, the abductors had demanded 100 million naira as ransom and later reduced it to 10 million naira.
However, according to a family source, the monarch was released on Wednesday after being kept in the kidnappers’ den for seven days.
The source added that the traditional ruler is presently undergoing medical observation in an undisclosed hospital.
In a chat with Channels Television, the Spokesperson of Ondo State Police Command, SP Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the release of the monarch.
