Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, during his campaign in Osun State on Thursday, boasted that he will succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said this will be done notwithstanding the opposition against him.

The former Lagos State Governor said, “We are the ones that installed them; we are the ones that will succeed them. They want to cause us discomfort.”

In his recent campaign in different states, Tinubu has openly criticized the policies and actions of the Buhari administration.

He openly alleged that the Buhari administration was working to sabotage his presidential ambition with fuel scarcity and Naira redesign.

Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai also claimed that some elements in the presidential villa were working against the candidate.

“I believe that there are elements in the villa that want us to lose the elections because they didn’t get their way,” el-Rufai said.

“They had their candidate; their candidate didn’t win the primaries. I believe that they are still trying to make us lose the elections and they are hiding behind the president’s desire to do what he thinks is right.”
