Guinness World Records (GWR) has announced the first song to hit one billion Spotify streams and this has generated different reactions.
GWR made the announcement in a recent tweet via X (formerly Twitter).
According to GWR, “One Dance” by Drake, featuring WizKid and Kyla, released in 2016, has become the first song to surpass one billion streams on Spotify.
“The first song to reach one billion streams on Spotify was One Dance by Drake, Wizkid and Kyla”.
The “One Dance” single was a massive hit which shattered multiple records thereby solidifying its place in music history.
