It is launching new features called “Perspectives” and “About this author,”.

It is also expanding some of its current tools, including the  “About this result” too

The New Features

The new Perspectives feature will appear below Top Stories and showcase insights from a range of journalists.

Insights from experts and other relevant voices on the topic the user is searching for will also be shown.

This feature is designed to give users a variety of noteworthy voices on a news topic to broaden their understanding.

Also, the feature will launch soon in English in the US. Afterwards, it will be available on desktop and mobile, Google says.

About This Author

Another feature being launched is the “About this author”. 

Basically, this feature lets users easily learn more about the authors behind the content they are reading.

With this new feature, users will be able to find more information about the background of the authors that appear on Search.

The “About this author” feature is an extension of Google’s current “About this result” feature, which was first released in 2021.
