Governor Sanwo-Olu On Arise TV

If only Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State had known that events of the past would come hunting his political career, then perhaps, he would have prepared himself for the worst.

Little did he know that Lagosians are yet to forget the #EndSars incident. The wounds of the protest is still fresh in the minds of many.

Unfortunately, years after the incident, Sanwo-Olu wants to contest again as the Governor of the state and he is not finding it easy.

Indeed, October 20, 2020 is a day Nigerians will never forget in a hurry.

According to him, considering the level of the incident, there is no leader that would not want to involve in forensic analysis to know what had happened.

Who Gave The Order?

The governor said he was concerned about getting verified information on what happened on October 20, 2020, when the Nigerian army opened fire on unarmed civilians instead of the social media posts.

Sanwo-Olu pleaded that everyone should drop the question of ‘who gave the order’ and engage in a role-play or put themselves in his situation.

But will the people listen and throw at him their thumbs at the polls that will come on Saturday?
