Eleven governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) on Thursday visited the party’s former National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.
The governors were led by the forum’s chairman, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
The eleven PGF members visited Adamu at his residence in Abuja to appreciate his leadership.
Sources at the governor’s residence said that the governors applauded the leadership of Adamu for leading the party to victory in the 2023 general election.
The Party’s Interest
The source said they also appreciated his courage for resigning in the party’s interest while appealing to him to continue participating in the party’s activities despite the recent incident.
They thanked him for leading the party to success at the presidential and governorship elections in many states.
Product Of Success
The governors told Adamu that they are the products of his success during the general elections,” the source said.
Confirming the above, Adamu said that they came to visit him and to appreciate his leadership.
The Governors at Adamu’s residence included those of Katsina, Ebonyi, Sokoto, Niger, Gombe, Benue, Jigawa, Imo, Ogun, Kebbi, and the acting governor of Ondo State.

Adamu resigned from his position on Sunday night due to an internal crisis and corruption allegations leveled against him.
