The ongoing National Economic Council (NEC) meeting held at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja was graced with the presence of the chairman of Dangote Foundation, Aliko Dangote and Bill Gates.
The meeting is presided over by Vice President, Kashim Shettima with numerous governors in attendance.
Present at the meeting are governors Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa State), Duoye Diri (Bayelsa), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Lawan Dauda (Zamfara State), among others.
Also in attendance are deputy governors representing their principals, some Ministers and some states commissioners.
The meeting is expected to have a holistic review of the nation’s economic policy and the recent fuel price increase.

Meanwhile, the Co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates has disclosed the reason Nigeria receives the largest share of intervention funds allocated by the foundation in Africa.
To him, the foundation spends a lot in Nigeria because of the population and the incredible needs.
