He tweeted: “Just commissioned 10 Firefighting trucks, the total cost of over 12Bn Naira.

“More to come in due course. Safety has been the Buhari focus in Aviation since 2015. Hitherto, FAAN has not bought new trucks in 15 years.”

If the entire sum was spend on the trucks, a breakdown of the cost showed that each truck cost about 1.2 billion Naira.

From findings, a Crash Truck often seen at airports costs between $750,000 to $1.2 million.

Converted to Naira by the black market rate of 745 Naira to a dollar, each of the firetrucks would cost is 894,900,000 Million Naira. That is if they were bought at 1.2 million dollars.
