David Beckham was thrilled to receive an unusual Valentine’s Day gift from wife Victoria as his new-found love for chickens continues to grow.
Inter Miami co-owner Beckham has been excited about looking after his own flock of chickens in recent months.
However, on Valentine’s Day, he took to Instagram to thank his wife Victoria for getting him the latest edition of The Country Smallholder magazine – which provides news, practical information, how-to-guides and columns on hobby farming, organic gardening, veterinary advice, and more.
Along with Beckham posting a photo of the magazine in an Instagram story, the 48-year-old wrote:
“My Valentine’s gift,” followed by a love heart emoji, and tagged Victoria as well.
However, Beckham received his very own flock of chickens for Christmas, which led Victoria to get the former England international a book called, ‘Keeping Chickens for Dummies’.
Also, the couple set up a hutch and pen for the ex-footballer at their Cotswolds farmhouse to add to the beehive they have there.
Last week, Beckham showed his “excitement” at finding eggs and “learning what they need” and now this magazine will just add to his enthusiasm for the whole process.
