The organizers of the American Music Awards introduced a new category for the Afrobeats sound and have announced the full list of the inaugural nominees for this category.
The nominated artistes for the favorite afrobeats artists include Burna boy, Ckay, Tems, Fireboy Dml and Wizkid

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on 21st Novemeber 2022 at 2:00 am WAT at the Microsoft Theater in the US.
