The suspended Governor of the Central Bank (CBN) Godwin Emefiele, has been taken to Abuja by security personnel.
He was taken after his suspension by President bola Tinubu on Friday.
An aide of President Bola Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, shared a video showing Emefiele and some men.
He says it was the moment officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) took Emefiele to the airport to fly him to Abuja.

Despite this claim by Tinubu’s aide, the DSS says Emefiele is not in their custody.
According to Onanuga, Emefiele was taken to Abuja.
The suspended Governor of the CBN is being accused of financial misconduct during his term in office.
He has been the Governor of the CBN since June 2014.

The suspended CBN Governor in the earlier months of 2014 withdraw cash from circulation, saying it was to push the cashless policy of the CBN.
